Who are we?
Rehm Holiday Apartments – these are Harald and Tanja Rehm. As parents of four children, we know exactly how challenging it can be to plan and enjoy the perfect vacation. But it was precisely this experience that motivated us to create our own little holiday paradise. Harald has been a passionate Cuxhaven fan since his childhood, so it was only a matter of time before we realized the dream of having our own holiday apartment in 2009. What makes our apartment special: it offers enough space for up to 6 people – so it’s perfect for our entire family! If you like, you can book it directly here on our website under "Apartment 05." And what happened next? The joy of renting out our holiday apartment was so great that we decided to start our own rental office. What excites us most about this work? Quite simply: We are allowed to look forward with our guests to their upcoming vacation and help make it a truly special experience.

Why do we love the region?
Cuxhaven Duh nen
With its sandy beach and the busy promenade Duhnen is the most popular district of Cuxhaven.
Here you can have a great day at the Ahoi-Erlebnisbad and you can visit the numerous shops, restaurants and taverns.
Mud-flat-carriages to Neuwerk and guides mud flat hiking tours start at this point.

Cuxhaven Döse
The beach area of Döse begins at the open-air-swimming-pool filled with seawater and extents to the "Kugelbake", the famous Landmark of Cuxhaven.
Here you have the choice between a sandy or a green beach and you stay central between Cuxhaven City and Duhnen.
You can reach the observation platform "Alte Liebe" and the district Duhnen by foot.
If the way back to your apartment seems to be too long, you can take the beach-train or the bus!
Relax in the inhouse swimming pool, the sauna or the beach chair at the sand beach of Döse which is belonging to your apartment.
Cuxhaven Grimmershörn und City Marina
There is always something going on at "the harbour". The Grimmershörn-bay is characterised by the green beach. You can take a bath in the buoy-pool, even when the water-level is low. The Fairway of the Elbe is very close to the bay. You can have a close look to the small and large ships which go to or come from the Hamburg Harbour. Most of the vacation homes have a sea view and a balcony which ist partly glazed. Here our vacation homes have a luxury equipment and a lot of space for families. There is no need to create a maritime Flair in here. This is the home of the maritime flair.
Further information
All apartments have a free-of-charge parking place for your car and free Wifi. Apartment 48 is especially for wheelchair users and has a disabled accessible bathroom. The apartments 13, 25, 45, 46 and 112 are all accessible by Lift, but they are not totally disabled accessible. If you are a wheelchair driver, please let us talk about the situation in the requested apartment in detail. Apartment 5 is only accessible by stairs.
How it all began
We bought our first apartment in 2009. As a family of six, it was always very difficult for us to rent a suitable apartment. Then the opportunity arose to buy this apartment.

The Ahoi water park offers plenty of fun for both young and old. And around the promenade, you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, and cozy pubs that invite you to feast and stroll. A real tip for adventure seekers: a ride on the mudflat wagon to Neuwerk. There, you can not only take part in exciting mudflat hikes but also explore the mudflats and their unique natural beauty on your own. Cuxhaven Döse
From the refreshing seawater outdoor pool to the Kugelbake, Cuxhaven's landmark, you can choose between idyllic green beaches and the finest sand – whatever you prefer! Your accommodation is wonderfully centrally located, allowing you to quickly reach the harbor with the Alte Liebe beach or the charming town of Duhnen on foot. If the walk back seems too long, you can simply take the beach train or the bus – convenient and stress-free! In the spa gardens, you can experience a very special attraction: the penguin feeding at the zoo. And if you keep your eyes open, you'll discover many other animal residents, such as birds, monkeys, and guinea pigs, that fill the park with life.
City Marina
There's always something going on in the harbor! Grimmershörn Bay captivates with its green beach, perfect for relaxing hours. And when the water is lower, you can even take a refreshing dip in the buoy pool at low tide. The Elbe River fairway is right outside, and you can watch ships large and small up close – a true experience for anyone who loves maritime life! Our vacation apartments offer you a comfortable stay: With a balcony, a glass-enclosed loggia, and often even a sea view, you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Especially at the City Marina, our apartments are exclusively furnished and offer families plenty of space to feel completely at home. There's no need to "manufacture" a maritime flair here – the maritime flair is at home here.
